Facilitated Group is committed to protecting the privacy of your personal information. You can access our full privacy policy.

The primary purpose we collect personal information from you is to provide you with one or more Services outlined in our privacy policy.

We may also use or disclose the personal information for another purpose such as to inform you of relevant updates and changes that may affect you or your business, to market to you, invite you to events that may interest you, to engage with your other adviser, to process payments, for delivery purposes, to administer your account and to keep records of transactions to assist in future enquiries and enhance our relationship with you.

Our usual process of collecting personal information is to collect the personal information directly from you on application forms, through our website and mobile applications, by email and physical correspondence with you and telephone conversations with you. We may also collect personal information from other sources, such as your other advisers, other third parties we do business with and our related entities (see list in our privacy policy).

The information is usually collected before and during the course of providing the Services outlined in our privacy policy to you.

If you do not provide us with the requested information, we may not be able to provide you with Services (as outlined in our privacy policy) that you desire. In some cases it may be possible for you to provide us with some but not other personal information. You can ask us if this is possible before providing us with your instructions.

Your personal information may be disclosed to other entities, such as our subcontractors and agents and related entities (as outlined in our privacy policy), other service providers and third parties we do business with, your other advisers, government bodies, credit reporting bodies and credit providers.

If we consider it necessary, we may run credit checks on you or your business and may disclose your credit information to a credit reporting body.

These credit reporting bodies may include the information we disclose to them in reports provided to other credit providers to assist those credit providers in assessing your credit worthiness.

If you fail to meet your payment obligations in relation to the credit we provide you or if you commit a serious credit infringement, we may disclose this to one or more of the credit reporting bodies.

You can request that the credit reporting body not use your information for the purposes of pre-screening for direct marketing by another credit provider. You can also request the credit reporting body not use or disclose credit reporting information about you, if you believe on reasonable grounds that you have been, or are likely to be, a victim of fraud.

From time to time, we may disclose information to overseas recipients, including recipients in the United States of America, Singapore, Ireland, Germany, Japan, South America, South Korea, India and any other countries due to the location of our cloud provider, website host, mail servers and in order to back-up our data in third party data centres. We take reasonable steps to ensure this personal information is handled in a safe and secure manner.
